Yoga

Millions of dollars go into caring for hypertensive patients every year. The cost of pharmatherapy started pushing scientists to find alternate treatments for hypertension. Recent studies show that the answer to the problem of hypertension might lie in an ancient Asian practice, yoga. Though it is too early to be conclusive, the experiments revealed that a regular yoga routine may be as effective as pharmatherapy, offering hope for the future and basis for further study.
